These guys have taken up residence and are quite amusing. It does involve perilously hanging out an upstairs window but so far nobody has been injured in the taking of these pics 😄. DA*300 with 1.7 x AF converter.

Hi Drobbia,
You are quite correct in your comment. The dark object is a drainpipe from the roof which offers cover for the nest. As explained the camera angle of view is slightly restricted to say the least
I quickly downloaded the image to my ipad and posted from there. I will do a crop, removing the offending drainpipe.
I find the "residents" quite amusing and it is interesting to see them develop at relatively short range .
