Path to nowhere

Path to nowhere

Photo Information
I thought this little path had interest, there wasn't any contrast that day so i tried my best, any help would be appreciated, i think maybe f/8 or above would have been better, the two blobs on the hill are sheep .

I think it may have helped to open the gate a little? Not sure if you could have done this but it would have led the eye a bit better. Maybe also a tighter crop featuring the path itself a lttle more as there is only the sky in the far distance.

Thanks David, i wouldn't have Been able to open the gate, for fear of the sheep getting out, i think it was private property and it was just off a road.
Kind regards Maria

I like it's rather quirky look - the log pile (or is it a wall ?) with the posts at a rakish angle, the slope, yet the track seeming fairy level.
I agree with David, an open gate might have helped, but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing

Nice blobs

Sometimes, if the sky is not out to play you've just got to shrug your shoulders...

Apart from that I would have stood further back to make more of the trail... maybe

Nice shot

I don't like BW this time. Strange but true!IMHO it could work better in colour. Clone blobs away. David is right...if tha gate was opened...but this is another story...

I like this Maria, but I would love to see it in colour, this view is going to be very bleak soon. Best wishes Trixie

Unusual and strange, Maria. A track which leads the eye through the gate to nowhere! Makes me think.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Thank you Giulio, it doesn't look any better in colour, it's off to the recycle bin i think.
