Cwm Clogwyn Mists

by morpheus71

Transient light illuminating Llyn Glas, which lies at the foot of the Clogwyn D'ur Arddu escarpment, through a gap in the swirling clouds - whilst we were descending the Bwlch Main Ridge of Yr Wyddfa (Mt Snowdon) on the Rhyd-Ddu Path.

Thanks very much! The clouds that had swathed Yr Wyddfa for hours hard started to drift into temporal pockets, letting the late afternoon light reach the cwm. I was instantly fascinated by this fleeting portal. An absolute delight, after spending hours of a visibility of 3 to 4 metres on a shrouded mountain. I have walked all the paths of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) over the years and the Rhyd-Ddu Path offers probably the greatest array of diversity of potential views, pure Welsh magic

A shot of almost nothing but I love it!

Thanks very much Pauljay! It sure makes use of space, but it just 'felt' worthy of being an image. I would happily have a big print of that on my living room wall to gaze at.
