I like the way the telephoto view makes it seem like he is going to get very wet pretty soon.
Pleasing composition with man and line and also consecutive waves sitting a third of the way across and down.

Very deft composition, the colour rendition is excellent, the 55-300 is a great lens and you have put it to great use here

Thanks to you all, I enjoyed taking this shot and knew it would be a good one as soon as I had taken it (it's not often this happens!)
I agree with Jim's quote above about the 55-300 lens. After using it now for about a month or so it has become my favourite. It is an absolutely cracking lens and I would encourage anyone who has not got one to buy it immediately!
