Craster, Sunset

Sunset on the rocks at Craster, Northumberland.

The rock in the distance, just catching the last rays of the evening sun, lies outside the harbour wall. It's pretty much submerged at high tide, and has a cairn on it (to warn boats of its presence I'd have thought). I'd been wanting to take a picture of it for a while...

Now this one is something special. The light, the perspective, the exposure time used are all sublime. How do we compete with or compare with this?
