'Big Ben' at Sunset

'Big Ben' at Sunset

Photo Information
Not quite as I would like it to be; more of a failed experiment comparing the Composite Mode to result obtained with an ND filter. Not sure the test was successful as the light was changing too fast; either way, somehow, I still like the end result a little. :p Most likely simply because of the sky colors.

It's got a lovely sense of "time to go home" about it. Those colours are something again

Mags you're too hard on yourself...this image is quite extraordinaire! Fantastic silhouette basking in the melt of color wash. Very surreal!

I like this, I was in the same spot last September down at the bar on the way to the big wheel. No mistaking what time it was at , the skies have been beatiful lately around 9.30

This works for me; the only way to improve 'might' be to lift some of the shadow on the rhs, but otherwise great as is IMO!

I think this is fine as it is. The composition is great with Big Ben lying on one of the thirds and just enough blur in the sky.
Kind regards

Perhaps you were too intent of photographing the scene as it looked at the time. Instead you have an artistic image which 'represents' that scene and in doing so you have created a new picture.

Thank you all very much.Think this one is 'growing' on me. Cheers David (Trout); that's a good way to look at it
