Remembering my backyard pals of last summer

by Jokke

I had dozens of encounters with
these flying squirrels last summer. In this case these two puppies were escaping the heat of
their nest (while one was still in the nest with mama). I observed
them under the tree for about half
an hour and took pictures without
any hurry. I also had some small
talk with them (er... am I a bit
mad?). However, they seemed to agree with me, at least they did'nt have any opposite comments
(or any comments at all...)
By the way: I had to postpone chainsawing big logs under this tree by more than two months in order to give nesting peace to these nice pals.

... Er... what makes a hatter even as mad as me? I have personal experience only about us, nature
photographers, and - well, that describes us frigthenedly
well... in spite of that: a Happy New Year to you!
