Sunset at Lackford Lakes

by Stu-D

We went to Lackford in the hope of watching the murmurings. I wasn't intending on photographing that, but had my camera with me all the same. Left the tripod in the car as the weather was fairly uninspiring. The starlings didn't show, but an amazing sunset did, which saw me sitting on the floor using my knee as a tripod.

This is a combination of 3 photos in Nik HDR (free from google) + little bit of LR and a small amount of cloning in CS3.

I would never have thought of using HDR for such a scene but it has worked very well!
