Nicely lit, wouldn't be able to tell it was flash until you said so (which means you carried it off perfectly!). Now get a person sitting in there!

Cheers Tim... Still getting to grips with off camera flash... The edge of the right wall (next to the bench) is slightly blown... I'm still quite happy with it though...

I'm a bit nervy of asking random folk if I can shoot them, and there's no way I can afford to use pro-models (nor have I the confidence that I'd get good results without looking like a total fool) but the 'aperture controls flash exposure - Shutter controls ambient light' rule is slowly sinking in... Now to tackle the 'inversed square law!! (Experimentation is fun!)
Kind of wish pentax had a faster sync-speed 1/180th does seem slow in comparison to 'Canikon's' 1/250th... This is apparently a hardware 'thing' regarding the shutter itself rather than something that can be improved with firmware, But I've bought into the pentax 'system' now (as well as being plain stubbon...) so I won't be jumping ship anytime soon...
In fact... I plan on a K5 (or whatever newer higher spec version arrives) within the next 2 years...

To everyone else... I welcome critique... Bring it...

Three words for you - Friends and Family! They all presumably owe you a favour or three, and if it's your own kids they can't say no anyway
