Testing high ISO noise control on Pentax K5 with 18-55mm WR kit lens.
The yellow cast of the sodium street lights was taken out with Lightroom 3.3 RC.
Hand held, 1/13th sec, f5.6, ISO 3200, no noise reduction... I am well impressed.

Looks good, and as you say no noise. In a test I've had mine up to 51000 ISO, plenty of noise then. I've had good results, with no NR required, up to 1500.
