I did think about a B&W version since it is already almost monochrome.
However, as Tony said, I too felt that the little bit of blue gave it that bit of life ?

What really caught my eye, apart from the dramatic burst of light, was the curve in the light through the lower clouds which seemed to match the tree line ?
