Rossendale way.

Photo Information
Managed to get up and out at 5.00am this morning. This is Haslingden along the Rossendale way path. Its about a ten minute drive from where I live. The area gets some amazing light. This was taken with the K-5 and Sigma 8-16mm

Amazing light indeed! The picture is well composed and the wall disappearing into the distance gives it depth. Verging on painterly.
Great shot!

Thank you Bob. My K-5 doesnt seem to be showing the exif data, could anyone explain how to activate it?

The EXIF is there without having to activate it. Have you processed this as a HDR image in Photomatix or similar? If so, this will be why EXIF is missing, if not I can't explain it.

Thank you for commenting! David with regards to the image and exif, the shot was a blend of three images to combat the strong light from the left. This was composed of three separate raw conversions using a programme called scarab darkroom, (free raw software) then blended in photoshop cs2

I think this does explain why there is no EXIF. I have noticed when I combine images in Photomatix the EXIF disappears, but when I process the same RAW image at different exposures it is retained.

I will add my two pennyworth. When I merge photos in Photomatic the EXIF data is still there. I do know that certain file formats do not support EXIF. If you want to read up about it try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exif
