Stone Wall

by nonur

Shot in Mardin. The unruly young tourists, as is sometimes the case, carved their names or initials and the names of their towns to the soft stones of the wall of a historical building.

I like the view right through the building.
It's always a shame to see historical buildings vandalised in this way.

It is a shame but its turned this blank wall into a wonderful photo opportunity. Well done Nezih for taking advantage of it.

Very evocative, Nezih. There are a few places near here with ancient graffiti carved into soft limestone.
Best wishes,

Andrew
