Throwley Old Hall

by sandinista

Just got around to processing this shot from a set I took of this old ruined building in May. Tried my hand at conversion and split toning again

I think the result is very successful Jim, excellent treatment that suits the subject really well. The only thing I'm not sure about is the aircraft trail in the sky.

successful PP, Jim, .. on the other hand it's remarkably sharp and well lit. For me the aircraft trail is a bonus ..

Nice picture, I like the PP. The white highlights are possibly a little bright. I don't mind the contrail.

Thanks very much for taking the time to look and giving your comments and feedback. I must say the contrail doesn't really bother me David, but as ever it's down to personal taste

I don't suppose you would want to look at this with a hangover Tim

I don't mind the trail Jim, the only thought I had was that the PP is leaning toward the sepia end of the colour scale which gives the picture an 'old' look and that made me think that there wouldn't be such a trail on an old picture!

Hi David, yes I see you mean about the trail as it does have a vintage kind of feel
