This is a model of the MK1 Ford Escort I use to own 26 years ago, my car was this red, with the 4 Spots on the front. The engine was 1.3L with twin carb, stainless steel pancake air filter. Uprated gearbox fitted with a racing spring loaded shift. Wide alloys wheels, uprated brakes, rear axle from a MK3 cortina. The interior had bucket seats, a dashboard full of dials, rollcage and tinted glass. This car was very quick especially on country lanes as it had superb grip and handling and would easily leave my mate's RS Turbo behind. Shame I have not got the car now as a car similar to the specification for sale on ebay for £18,000

Dad
With more patience, practice and learning, I hope one day I will be able to take beautiful photos like this.
