Hi Vicki, not enough cream! Oh critique of the picture, sorry. Nice depth of field. Maybe a slightly higher position for the take and the shadow to the left of the plate needs sorting.

Hi Cedric, trust me there was more cream by the time we ate them!! I do have some others that are from a slightly higher angle and have to admit that I hadn't thought about the shadows, will I just be able to clone that out??

My belief is that it is best to start off with the best image possible then adjust where needed. Maybe some more scones and even out the lighting or try it outside perhaps on an overcast day. Good excuse to experiment!
