Eddie (The Eagle)

Photo Information
FA* 300 f4.5 + AFA 1.7x handheld

This was taken at the Tautra bird reserve late afternoon on a cloudy day. There was a brief spell of low sunlight when I took the shoot. I know I could maybe have achieved a sharper capture with better light (and better technique, camoflage clothing, a hide, etc.) , but for now this is my only encounter with a Sea Eagle, and best go at taking a photo of one

Considering that the eagle knows you are there you did well to get this close. What a magnificent beak. It is quite a heavy lens to hold steady so well done!

Best wishes,
