Ex SR 34046 'Braunton' replaced 4464 'Bittern' on a Kings Cross to York outing and is seen twice in this collage.
David Trout's 'hard-working' Ex-LNER favourite, 60009 'Union of South Africa' is seen too on a Southend to York trip.
Finally ex-LMS 46233 'Duchess of Sutherland' appears on the return leg of a Scarborough-Lincoln trip.
These were cropped to improve the composition and it took me until the last of the day (The Duchess) to hold everything steady and get a decent shot. It required a cycle dash out of Nottingham after arriving back on the train from Newark, to get in place for this one.
I wondered if you might turn up at York but realised you could photograph all three trains nearer to your home in the East Midlands.

Because of the position of the sun, the first three lacked a bit of colour but the low evening sun had moved round to pick out the colour on the Duchess(top left).
The first shot of Braunton (top right) was taken as it slowed for Carlton loop and was a bit too wide angle.
In the second shot (bottom left), the sun was too far round to the left/west and the colour was lost.
With 'UoSA', I cropped from the right but still had moved my body too far to the right instead of leaving a little space on the left of shot.
So I was cross with myself & determined to do better with the Duchess at the end of the day.
Just like the old days with you three dropping in to comment!
