Steam in the snow

by davidtrout

Another one from the Tanfield Railway in Co. Durham. There's been a lot of talk lately about the merits of B+W versus colour and I've entered some steam train pix in mono to give them a vintage appeal so now here's one in colour. K10d+16-50DA* lens

This has it all! Lovely composition and exposure well handled in what looks like difficult, contrasty light. Luv it!!

Thanks Ken, Stephen and Paul. It was bloody freezing cold when I took this and I had difficulty standing upright as it was so icy underfoot.

I imagine well how difficult it must have been taking this one, which makes it all the more beautiful
