IlamHall

by carmagw

Taken at Ilam Hall which is a Youth Hostel. These are some benches under the raised garden area. My back was against a wall so it was a real struggle to get a composition that I liked.

I have pushed the processing a bit on this so may not be to everyones liking.

I like this George, and see, no reason to part with the 16-45 is there!

Thanks Andrew, I confess having looked back on some of the pictures taken with it I may well hang onto it.

An interesting subject that has been enhanced by the post processing treatment.

I have been really impressed with my Samsung version, it outshines both my DA 18-55 & 18-135 WR lenses in terms of sharpness and image quality.

Like it very much, good perspective achieved in a tight space

It looks a bit similar to the processing on a shot of some gravestones I uploaded a couple of days ago (I like it BTW). The picture is great and so is the 16-45 lens.

I was trying for a pseudo HDR look based on some examples in a Digital Photo mag. I can see the similarities to your gravestone shots - nice shots by the way. I like the way the stone looks when treated in this way.

I've also decided to hang onto the 16-45 !
