St Bees view

by Ellida

St Bees Head dominates the coastal scene around the township. There is a fine footpath right around the Head and this shot was taken from the South Head.

Nice land/seascape, the path and fence lead you down to the cove, then the dark storm clouds make you look at the distant view. Ps. What is the white structure in the far distance standing on its own

Rather uninterestingly it's an electricity pylon catching the light. The Sellafield Nuclear decomissioning plant is just visible and the area is networked with pylons, possibly a legacy from its power production days.
