St MARY'S GLASS - 1

by davidtrout

There are two cathedrals in Newcastle, St Nicholas (Anglican) and St Mary's (Roman Catholic). In the past I've posted photos of the stained glass windows at St Nicholas but until this week I'd never been inside St Mary's. Here too there are some wonderful windows.
This one is a tribute to Tyneside's industrial heritage.

Beautiful and an unusual subject for a stained glass window. Thanks for showing us this.

Interesting window and well taken. Surprised it's as fast as 1/200s.

A surprising yet welcomed change of subject for a church stained glass window.

I love stained glass with or without great industrial scenes! Nicely shot!
