Tulips - along with Daffodils they scream 'Springtime' to me!
These lovely orangey-red ones are in our garden, I just had to find the best angle to photograph them with a nice dark backdrop.
Red Hue adjusted in post processing to get rid of the 'Pentax' magenta tint and return the flowers to their natural colouring.

Beautiful vibrant image, so sharp, you have done the K-3 and that lovely lens justice with this little gem
