Crosses & Trees - Tonemapped

I think this may be one of my favourite shots. Taken this afternoon with the K-5, DA 16-45mm and a variable ND filter, then some tone-mapping applied in Photomatix, just because I thought it suited the subject.

You have created some very striking tones in the gravestones and monuments. The highlight area in the centre pulls the eye through the picture and shows up the stones at the back.

Excellent image and judicious use of tone mapping, it can be extremely effective used on the right subject. Must agree with all previous comments.
