Running at speed!!!!

Photo Information
Title? Us photographers go out socially with non camera wielders and get stuck behind a few hundred?thousand yards give or take the odd inch. We become social misfits and our good friends can despair....unless they are visiting our seaside ideal and catching up with chit chat themselves. Ideal situation because they don't notice your not there when they are chuntering away. But, I feel guilty having shot a few dunes and ignoring the people I haven't seen for a year or so. [We catch up later coz they stay with us and we light a log fire, put the old tunes on the stereo and get pretty drunk altogether and laugh over old times.]. Right!! Well...this photograph is me feeling guilty and running like an idiot to catch up and join them. Yet... I still think 'Oooh, photie opportunity' and snap with me RUNNING AT SPEED and carrying the camera waist height. This one means more to me in it's simple structure than all the comments that will say....Framing is not right..or blur...Yuk. Don't care because....I love it!! It's a reminder that my family and friends love me even though I'm crap socially sometimes. A day out on the dunes and next to the sea with my good friends and family means....LX versus Family. Difficult choice.

You have hit the nail squarely on the head, I'd say it's a situation we've all found ourselves in.

and all the above too from me,
This reminds me of the status on Southport Beach, the Anthony Gormley ones, I love it Gray as all your work is so unusual and always wonderfully processed in yummy black and white. You are welcome to a cup of Lady Grey from me.

Blur creates timeless imaginations I suppose

It reminded me of the The Singing Butler painting by Jack Vettriano initially with its inclusion of four. No where near its brilliant story filled nature though
