Great result from a fantastic (if unfortunate) opportunity.
I watched her for some time and saw no evidence of any external injury that might prevent her taking flight. She had, however, ended up in a 'tunnel' at the base of a dense ancient hedgerow and perhaps just needed a little time to extricate herself. Did consider trying to rescue her, but decided that any attempt would be likely to do more harm than good; to both of us! In the end I did the next best thing and notified the local wildlife rescue group of her location and predicament.
Hope she made it to fly another day 🤞🏻
A stunning image with spot on focussing, enhanced by the out of focus foreground and background.
Agree heartily. Like.
