I think she photographed an oil painting. The engagement with the bird and spot on focus on its eye is fantastic.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

people often overlook sparrows as little brown jobs [LBJs in birder-speak]....
it is a picture like this that shows just how attractive they are!

What can I say? In anyone else's hands the image would be good but unremarkable. In your hands Maria it turns into a masterpiece.

Beautiful, stunning and charming. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you re not selling your images for lots of money to greetings card companies then you should be!!

Maria, I can not add much more to what has already been said other than you are in a class of your own when it comes to these photo renditions! I love the curvy fence line...did you bow it or was it like that originally?
