Difficult to get an all readable and rich of details sky-clouds. You did. Powerful colours and majestic clouds. Really original the soil thin-layer at the bottom of compo. It seems to say "may I introduce"...a very shy approach (overture) to the rest. POTNW (Photo of the Next Week)

Indeed the diminutive sliver of the 300m high hills of the southern moorlands were a deliberate prelude and juxtaposition to the narrative of the immensity of the thunderclouds.
I wanted the drama of the clouds,, the vastness of the structures of the cumulonimbi, the hues and the light to have the main presence in this moment of meteorological theatre... and simultaneously to show the true scale of the storm cell, by relating it to the humble moors and rural vales below.
