Many thanks indeed Giulio 😊 I noticed the opportunity out of the corner of my eye - just as I was about to pack my photography bag and head off! Glad the chiaroscuro caught my attention 😂

Yes, the light shines beautifully on this Sycamore leaf, well spotted and taken, i have a Sycamore in my garden, very late to shed it's leaves and one of the last to come in to leaf in Spring, i have taken many photo's under that tree but it's getting too large for the garden now (we didn't plant it) sadly it may have to go, i will miss it though!

Many thanks Maria

We have one too - on a high bank in our garden. Had to get a third of so of it's height lopped off a couple of years ago (was worried about it's height versus winter winds / proximity to house!). Blue tits nest in ours and bats roost in a bat box in the high trunk
