Thank you very much Karlo

It was a joy to stop on my way to Slapton Ley NNR, to photograph Great Crested Grebes, and watch the world wake up and stretch

Romantic plus. You have touched all the bases needed to produce a result such as this. Like.

I like the softly lighted foreground the way it combines so well with the harsher colour of the sky

Thanks very much for your kind words, that was one of the aspects that appealed to me as I often find sunrise itself to be a bit too intense. Pre-dawn and afterglow pinks are my usual favourites

Thanks very much for your kind words Paul 👍Having the super telephoto lens on the camera and no ND grads to fit, HDR was the only way to go. The HDR merge in Lightroom gives a great initial staring point in processing. 🤔👍

Thanks very much for your kind comment Ged 🙂I am very fond of the vista there and with those subtle mists and passing by as the sun was about to rise, it seemed like a good moment to try a photograph there🤔
