Catch!

by gwb67

Marcus Trescothick takes the winning catch for Somerset v Warwickshire.

Am still learning all the time with this type of photography and disappointed the AF hasn't caught the catcher. But if I increase the DoF, I need to drop the speed a lot. More practice required!

You captured the moment nicely. Try increasing the ISO 400, 800,1600 does not produce to much noise.

Thanks for the comment. I usually try to keep the ISO low but maybe should let it go higher.

I find it difficult to anticipate the action there so keep the AF on the batsman.

It's a K-5, the ISO will go a lot higher! Why have these people transferred their disco outside and why do they dance without partners. Strange peeps! Nice shot, I think!

Thanks for the comment. Yes the dancing is odd

I know it goes much higher on my K-3 but I like to keep it low when I can so I can zoom in and crop.
