Jurassic Coastland

by jeg1961

In the foreground is what I would describe as an alien landscape and on the horizon is Exmoor rising from the sea and over looking the seaside town of Minehead. To complete this shot is the dramatic sky and the shafts of light. I discovered this part of the little harbour town of Watchet about 5 years ago and this is the first chance I've had to do a shot with a decent camera.

Some of these strange and jaggered looking rock formations stand over 3 mtrs high along this bit of coast. It is no longer possible for me to get any further along the beach due to my disability.
