Good picture, Gary.

Have you been able to identify this creature?
I have a shot of him(?) as well, but not as accomplished as yours, hence its absence on this Gallery & I have not been able to find it (the bug) in The Insect Book!

Thanks Coker- I have just been looking through an old 'Oxford Book of Insects' but so far can't find it- a bit difficult as they are illustrations rather than photos in the book. There were a few of them in the grass and weeds by the edge of our pond/wetland area.
