Bowden Lane mists

Early autumn mists percolating through a holloway section of the ancient Bowden Lane drover's route.
The ensconcing nature of the tree canopy and fern covered high banks of this portal, with mists drifting about and the dappled morning light created an alluring atmosphere. A conduit sunken into the hillside with myriad stories I wish to hear - of the travellers who have walked this green lane over deep time.
Superb! I love these 'lane/track' type images and the mist makes this one stand out
Many thanks for your generous and enthusiastic comments Andy😊 We have about 300 miles of these green lanes in the South Hams area of Devon! In yesterdays mist I was intrigued to see what this lane would be like... Very glad I went to explore 😊
Lovely
Thank you very much Giulio 😊
It's got impending autumn all over it. I like it
Many thanks David I am glad that comes across.
Fabulous shot, the hint of mist really does give it that autumnal feel
Thanks very much for your generous and enthusiastic comments Malc😊 Seem to be having lots of misty mornings and Indian Summer afternoons down here this September
Beautiful, misty and atmospheric image.
Thanks very much Maria The mists seemed to add something enchanting to the ancient atmosphere of this sunken lane. I shall never get bored of wandering along these green lanes.
