Chrome Hill

by davidstorm

In the Dove Valley, Derbyshire. Went there today with a few of the Pentax User Gang on the 'Peak District II' day out organised by AndrewA (thanks Andrew). This was a rare moment during today when the sun attempted to shine.

This is a bit special isn't it?

That Pentax-M 28mm lens has done a great job here. Must get back to using mine.

Wonderfully atmospheric in its lofty grandeur. A fine and elegant sweeping journey in to the great depths of this scene. Be very proud of this image

Thank you everyone for your comments. The most striking thing for me with this image and the others I shot with the K-3 and the Pentax-M 28mm F3.5 is how well the lens performs with this level of sensor resolution available. It produced wonderful images on the K-3, this is a great testament to how good this lens is. All I had to do is point it and focus it correctly!
