Bolza mansion, Szarvas, Hungary

Photo Information
The Bolza-Batthyány coat of arms is set on the tympanum of the four-columned portico.
During the alterations in the mid 19th century the building was expanded with additional living and reception rooms as well as a private chapel. The two column porticos in front of its eastern and western main entrances were constructed at that time.
The stairs leading down to the River Holt-Körös were constructed around 1910. The exact copy of the statue of the Wolf of Capitol Hill standing on the stair landing is the count's memorial to the family's Italian roots.
