It really evokes that 'wet - cold' feeling when you are out in it.
As to Ansel Adams, if you visit the George Hotel at Chollerford, Northumberland, they have quite a collection of his original prints taken in the snow around Hadrian's Wall.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
