Yes, david. I remember: minus 16 degrees on Christmas day; plus 31 degrees here on Sunday! Like living in Russia. Up to a point.

I agree. Winter gives a totally different image to the landscape. I've been doing some walks around the Capital Ring in London and will definitely be doing some of the routes again come winter time! Especially that Richmond to Osterley Lock route.
