I shot in RAW and adjusted levels etc on the computer, it's not as easy as i thought and doubt if i will go out in temperatures so low again.

The composition is really good, I think it really makes the most of the scene. I'm sure most would exclude the fence but inclusion is an inspired touch. Whilst I am a fan of your often darker take on subjects I think this one could do with brightening the snow.

Nice shot, Maria. It looks cold but I like the little patch of sunlight !

nice winter view, Maria, .. scattered trees look like weeds and the light stain in the middle adds some unexpected surrealism to the comp, .. like this

Beautiful winter landscape! I would probably have tried to leave just a nanometer more space on both sides, so that the branches of the two trees would be complete (if possible). Lovely light and composition.

A bit too dark for me, Maria, but a fascinating landscape.
Best wishes,

Hi Maria,
Excellent presentation of the winter atmosphere in the province!
PS. DrOrloff thinking correctly! In this gallery, we will not review the photos at FIAP standards (fence)! Some of us are completely deformed!

The result was well worth braving the cold! Now I need to convince me!

Thanks everyone, it does seem a bit dark on the gallery, i'll try and brighten it up a little and maybe the crop was a little to tight.
