I'm glad to see it was a 300mm lens. They are unpredictable this time of year.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I've been wishing to shoot an adder for ages and have been out many times looking for them, which part of the country did you spot this one please ?

Chris it was up here in sunny Cumbria. At Hay Bridge Nature Reserve about 5 miles from Ulverston where I live.
