Great shot, sharp and well lit. What did you make your diffuser out of?
Hi John, an empty Pringles Tube, sliced across at 45 degrees, then fixed back together with Duck Tape to form a 90 degree angle. The metal end cut off so the tube slots over the flashgun head with the clear end pointing downwards or adusted to an angle by altering the flash head. The plastic cap of the tube has been sanded to make it diffuse the light more, or alternatively you can put tissue paper over the end held on by rubber bands. It seems to work great! BTW the flash is a cheap, old Miranda 500CD which provides a good powerful light and enables me to use apertures like F13, F14 or F16 with quite a low sensitivity setting to keep the noise down.
