Agapanthus 2

Another shot of the Agapanthus using some 'old glass' - This time the Auto Chinon Multi-Coated 1:1.7 50mm.
Again at f/5.6 on the K-r hand held.

This is a VERY heavy crop to centre-in on the bee.
Sorry I couldn't get him in a better pose but he was very active and with a manual focus lens getting this shot was difficult enough !

I've not made a thorough comparison but I get the feeling that my copy of THIS lens is slightly better IQ than my copy of the M50 1.7 ?

It's a thundering good lens. I still have mine (must dust it off and use it). A crop like that one really shows it off.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
