First attempts at some night photography since film days. Had a blast figuring things out - my other half, carrying a tripod

You have an 'other half' prepared to carry a tripod? - wow - respect!

I would just be told were to shove it

Hope you don't mind but I found the spot light in the middle distracting so downloaded the image to clone it out to see what it looks like - IMHO looks much better without it - also played a little with exposure and contrast and lurking under the skin of a good image - I think you have a very nice image indeed.

If you would like the 'played with' version - let me know or happy to delete it if you feel I have over stepped the mark

Haha, he is lovely. Even looked like he enjoyed himself - granted, appears to require a holiday after a holiday to rest from all the walking we did
And yes, the blue light drove me nuts - it's actually from a 2mx2mx2m advertising 'cube'. Whomever decided to stick it there should be shot.

Thanks for the feedback and would love your 'corrected' version. Atm just taking baby steps and happy with any and all comments and criticism; and tips!

Don't really have much time atm to sit and play around too much with any of the photos. It's 5min a pop and off to the next one in LR.

Never ventured into the clone-it-out sphere just yet

Perfect view for HDR! Nice though!
