The Executor

Photo of the Week by Gary Hickin

The nightmares of administering an estate that involves an overseas business ! I have been working on this one for a while, mainly using soft window light; last night I thought I would give candlelight a try and ended up shoving the candlestick over ! It remained alight so I grabbed a quick pic.

Wonderful shot, surprised to see it was taken only a couple of days ago! I didn't think you were using your K-5 much Gary?

Hi David, The K-5 took a back seat once I got hold of a D800, then a D810 but after a while I missed using it so I have decided to use both cameras as I develop each still life composition. I'm just a hopeless K-5 fan, no known cure !

Super image - and I agree with Tommy above that the lens is a corker. Only the 50mm 2.8 macro can beat it.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
