Train had stopped just before crossing to allow an inter city train pass, started up again hence large amount of steam.
Taken with Pentax K20D WITH 16-45 PENTAX LENS.
Used Photoshop to remove overhead lines.

Just a great shot it reminds me of some paintings by Terence Cuneo that my father has on his wall, beautifully lit and composed. I have fond memories of this train, it was the pride of my Hornby Dublo Meccano three track railway when I was younger!!!
