A Penny For Your Thoughts

by Fletcher8

Not a great day outside light wise so I thought I would have a play indoors. I tried a few different effects with water droplets, and added the coins, which I think make it a little more interesting.

First time using the Aputure Trigmaster, and the Mecablitz 50 AF-1 together but am pleased with my first attempts.

Fantastic!

Do tell about the Aputure Trigmaster, to which you refer....?

Hi Coker
The Aputure Trigmaster is a Radio remote control. a Studio Flash Trigger and a Speedlight trigger. For more info take a look at: www.aputure.com/en/index.php

Just in case anyone is interested? A little info about the image.

I used my DA 35mm f/2.8 macro with the K5 together with a Metz Mecablitz 50 AF-1, linked via an Aputure Trigmaster and a cable release to fire the shutter. Camera was on a table top tripod. Took quite a few shots to work out the timing and this was one of the better images.

I used a kids fish tank (My first Fish tank from most Pet shops) £14
Eye droper from Boots 50p
Blue card under the tank

Altering the level of the water in the tank gives different effects. Am off from work for the next two weeks so am just playing about with a few ideas when I can't get out to take images.

Thanks for looking

I like its blue colour and the distorsions that were made by the waves. It's an interesting and creative shot.
