Clinging On

Photo Information
The latest in my macro experiments, this one shot in very dim twilight outside tonight as the rain started. Reason for this one? I've made a new lighting rig, hopefully it's more diffused and even light.

K-3, Butchered FA28-80 zoom, Reversed Pentax-A 50mm F1.7, Flashgun, Home-made Softbox

Lighting is super, head of the beast is tack sharp and colors pantone perfect. Expecting to see Sigorney Weaver molt out of this thing, "Alien" style. Another good experiment for you, I'm guessing. tg

Detail gets better and better. Actually, I take it back. It was a damn high and exceptional standard before, so the subjects' details are becoming more intricate. And you're capturing them with panache.

Cheers Stan, I will post an image of what the setup looks like, it's a real 'duck tape' fest at present!
