The Burmis Tree

Photo Information
A three-century old tree here in Alberta. I took this while on assignment for a small magazine. I just pointed my K10 and did a bracketed shot. Little did I know that after a bit of cleanup, this shot would go on to be my best seller. Had I known that, I would have used a tripod or something.

This is a well composed picture. It has nice contrast and sharp details. I like that as the sun shines over the clouds.

"I would have used a tripod or something"

And probably lost the light.

Sometimes ya just gotta go with the moment - this one sure worked out.
