The Waiting Room
(Socrates)
Late evening sunlight gilds the rocky bluffs between Muxham Point, Redcove Point and Fernycombe Point on the eastern shore of the mouth of the Erme estuary.
The rocks in the foreshore are those of Owen’s Point on Meadowsfoot Beach (a.k.a. Mothecombe) on the Flete Estate. This rivermouth lies within the South Devon ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’

There's nowhere quite like the Erme estuary - we stayed on the Flete estate years ago and fell in love with it. This shot has everything in it for me - composition, gorgeous lighting, sky and softness. A really stunning shot - bravo !
Thanks very much for your encouraging comments Blaze
