Came across this squirrel today at Sherwood Forest looking for his nuts, light was low photo was taken with 50-200 at f9,5. 1/90th sec, 800iso on a K20D.

Can see why they are called tree rats, just imagine a thin tail. Nice shot though terry.

Nice shot Tel!......I shoot them for "Red Alert" up here in Northumberland, I also trap a few as they are getting a grip in our part of the County........we still, I am happy to report ,have a large number of red's!.......a very well captured shot though!........Ken

Cute little things but not when they bury nuts and later dig the lawn up looking for them, i'm afraid it's a dose of lead when in range
